Graduate Clinical Intern
Annie is a soon to be graduate the Clinical Mental Health Master’s program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Nebraska. She is expected to graduate and become a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner in December 2021.
Annie has worked extensively doing risk assessment with children, adolescents, and adults in crisis, with a variety of diagnoses in an Emergency Department setting. She has experience working with individuals struggling with substance use issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss, as well as those with severe and persistent mental illness.
Annie practices through a Trauma-Informed and Strength-Based approach, utilizing Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Art Therapy. She plans to become certified in Animal Assisted Therapy upon graduation.
Annie provides integrative and creative counseling within a safe space that allows people to strive toward goals, grow into their full potential, and become their authentic selves within a collaborative relationship.

Pro Bono Therapy Services
Annie will be accepting new clients starting August 2021! Her services will support clients with barriers to access to mental health services.
